“I have been to the WNBA combine and I honestly believe that Dustin’s WCL international combine was 100x better for many reasons. Their (WNBA) camps had tons of women there and it felt like a basic summer skills camp. There weren’t too many individualized skill based drills, and during the games, it was almost as if every player was for themselves. It was not team oriented only (I) and (Myself) which is understandable because every one wants to stand out to be seen. The communication I’ve had with Dustin and the staff has been amazing. “I went to the Overseas Basketball Combine in Fort Lauderdale last year, and it wasn’t nearly as thorough as this weekend’s combine. There were more players and we only had one drill to showcase your skills in addition to two games. The drill was generic and didn’t give us an opportunity to showcase our talent in full. I felt the WCL combine covered more bases. I would definitely recommend you guys to other players. “I have attended a few exposure camps over the years. I have been to the Bakersfield Jam Tryouts in 2013, The L.A. Summer Pro League Exposure Camp in 2013 and 2014. I have also done the IBL/BJ League Exposure camp in 2014. In those events, it felt rigged because the coaches and staff would have their favorites because they met with some of the players in the past and it didn’t feel like you would have chance no matter how you performed. The WCL event is better. It is one of the best pro combine/exposure camp I have ever experienced because the individual structure at the beginning of day 1 showcases what you can or cannot do. I also think that having a professional coach there at the games give us more structure on offense making it more of a team game and everyone feels involved. As a result it gave me more confidence knowing that no one is going to ballhog and take bad shots to pad stats.
