We would like to wish everybody a Happy New Year as we enter 2018. WCL Sports Management continues into our 3rd year partnership with world known organization Eurobasket.com in terms of running their Eurobasket Summer League (ESL) combines. This is the 12th year for ESL that has been able to help thousands of aspiring professional players the opportunity to further their career and earn as much money as possible through basketball. There are 193 countries in the world that have a combined 420 leagues. The majority of these countries have multiple leagues such as Germany for example which has six leagues including the BBL, ProA, ProB, RL1, RL2, and Oberliga.
There are thousands and thousands of players on the open market consisting of all nationalities for teams to choose from. It is the player’s responsibility to whatever they can to 1) get seen and noticed by these teams, but 2) show beyond a reasonable doubt that they are the right choice for the team’s future. ESL was created to provide a platform for players to show that they are what the team is looking for to win games. We provide several athleticism and skill set tests to allow players to showcase their individual talent and then competition through 3on3, drills, and full games. The entire ESL camp will provide teams with a snapshot of everything a player has to offer and whether or not they are the one for them. Without a camp of this magnitude and exposure it may prove difficult to prove that you are the best choice among all the other options for each and every team.
This year we will tour 7 cities across the United States to provide these opportunities for players. We will be making two trips to Chicago, Atlanta, and Las Vegas while only making one stop in Columbus, Dallas, New York City, and Philadelphia respectively. Dustin Simcox is Certified Agent in the NBA, WNBA, and FIBA (International) while serving as President of WCL Sports Management and Director of Eurobasket.com. Together we have been the leaders in player placements throughout our 3 years together! Feel free to contact Dustin at dsimcox@wclbasketball.com with any questions you may have.
